Located at the 62-acre Powerland Heritage Park, The Great Oregon Steam-Up takes place at Powerland Heritage Park’s 62-acre campus right off of I-5, Exit 263. The award-winning festival and official “Oregon Heritage Tradition” offers something for everyone!

Things to Do

➡️ Miniature train and full-size trolley rides.

➡️ Family fun activities including a youth passport hunt with pins to collect, panning for gold, firefighting challenge course, fire bucket activities, pedal tractor pulling, and a LEGO display.

➡️ Fantastic Parade of Power featuring vintage tractors, trucks, steam traction engines, fire engines, construction equipment, logging equipment, and automobiles.

➡️ Blacksmith, and flour milling demonstrations.

➡️ A logging-skills demonstration.

➡️ A sawmill in operation.

➡️ Demonstrations of old farming methods, including threshing.

➡️ A plethora of machines, tractors, vehicles and steam traction engines over 100-years old!

➡️ 14 different museums to tour, including the model railroad museum

➡️ For the fun! 1/8th scale train rides, historic full-size trolley rides, model railroad, LEGO display, fire trucks, tractors, antique cars, Caterpillar equipment, old engines running, Steam Traction Engines, food, demonstrations, railroad equipment, and a parade of powerful machines!

Easy Access From I-5

The 55th annual Great Oregon Steam-Up at Powerland Heritage Park is located just north of Salem, Oregon. Take exit 263 off I-5. Head west 0.2 miles to 3995 Brooklake Road NE.

July 26-27 & August 2-3, 2025

  • $17 Adults

  • $12 Youth (Age 13 to 17)

  • Free for kids 12 and under!

  • $5 parking fee per vehicle. All Parking Fees Collected will be used to construct new restrooms and showers at Powerland Heritage Park!


Armed Services Member APPRECIATION ON Saturday, August 2 and SUNDAY, AUGUST 3, 2025

The second weekend of this year’s show will again feature Armed Service Member Appreciation for members of the Military and National Guard. Current and prior service members will be admitted for free on August 2nd & 3rd if they show their Military I.D. card. The family members will be required to pay admission. The second weekend will also again feature a display by members of the Military Vehicle Collectors Club of Oregon.

SENIOR DAY ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 3, 2025

Admission price is $3 off for Seniors (65 years old and older) on Sunday August 3rd!



Scheduled activities: 

Train and trolley rides, BIG daily parade, sawmilling, traditional tractor pulling, machinery demos, threshing, flour milling, fire apparatus demos, museum tours, kids pedal tractor pulling, and a Youth Passport program.

Other Attractions: 

BlacksmithingBrooks Depot Museum, a Country Store, models, early electricity exhibit, miniature farm display, Operation Lifesaver, swap meet and flea market sales, Big Band music, and great food!

Church services held Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. in the Music Hall.
