  • Dry - $21/night

  • Field - $20/night

During Steam-Up ONLY, all APMA members in good standing for the current year, will receive a $5 discount for an Electric 20 amp campsite, and a $3 discount for a dry or field site, per night. You must have your membership in effect for 30 days prior to reservations for discount. If you are not a member, please go to our website HERE and either sign up for membership on-line or print a copy of our membership form and include it with your camping registration.

Registration

  • All Steam-Up Camping Registration Forms [Online Form Coming in Spring 2025] and signed Camping Rules and Payment must be returned as soon as possible to APMA and no later than:

    · April 1st for contacted returning campers.

    · Camping spaces not registered and paid in full by April 1st will become first come first serve for all other campers. 

  • On your Camping Registration please indicate your 1st and 2nd choices for camping spaces. We will do our absolute best to assign you to the site you have requested. If we cannot, we will call you. If you are not an Exhibitor or Volunteer please include the Event Admission on the Camping Form for individuals in your site.

    • Please view the MAP to see Field camping spaces.

      Please return the Camping Registration form [Online Form Coming in Spring 2025], Camping Signed Rules, and Payment to our office.

    • We must have ALL paperwork and payment before we can assign you a site.

    • Group camping - if you want to camp next to someone, please coordinate with the others in your group to get all paperwork and payments in at the same time.

    • Please give us a valid e-mail or cell phone number to send a text so we can confirm your registration and site number.

    If you return your camping registration paperwork by email, you will need to contact our office at (503) 393-2424 to finalize with payment. There will be a $3 convenience fee added to all payments.

  • We will not assign Electric camping spaces to anyone only camping 1 night. Anyone only camping 1 night will be assigned to Field camping.


Check-In

Check in will be located in the front field in the registration Trailer fromn 8am-8pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (1st weekend) and Friday (2nd weekend). Please come by there first to pick up your parking passes and packet. Late arrivals may need to park in the front lot and check in the next morning.

You will receive:

  • Appropriate passes for admission

  • Appropriate vehicle, trailer, motorhome tag (must be visible and attached to vehicle).

    Notice: All vehicles improperly parked are subject to towing at owners’ expense

  • Map of campgrounds

When you arrive, please make sure to pick up a current copy of the Safety Rules and Register your off-road vehicles.

You may use a generator, but not during quiet hours (10pm-6am). For AC you must use a generator and do NOT plug into the electrical outlet.


CanceLlations and Refunds

   You must notify the office:

  • 1 month before the reserved date for a FULL refund

  • 2 weeks before the reserved date for a 50% refund

  • There will be NO refunds after two weeks before the reserved date.

  • The office must be notified of all cancellations and the office will fill those from the waiting list.

  • DO NOT REASSIGN THEM YOURSELF IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT.


EVENT Admission (if Camping)

Camping does not include show admission if not an Exhibitor, Volunteer, or Vendor

The Great Oregon Steam-Up (excluding exhibitors, vendors and volunteers)

  • Admission is $30 per person per weekend

  • $17 per person per day

  • Children 12 and under are free


If you are not a registered Exhibitor, Volunteer, or Vendor, please purchase your tickets in advance on the Camping Registration form. You will receive your wristband(s) upon check-in. If you are a Registered Exhibitor for Steam-Up, you will get 2 wristbands with the option to purchase up to 2 additional wristbands per weekend at $10 each.




FAQ’s

  • Not designated. The earlier you return your camping registration the more options for accessible camping spaces will be available.

  • Yes! You can register your golf cart/ATV vehicles online or at the Parade/Vehicle table to the west of the office building when you arrive at Steam-Up.

    For ALL other events, you will register your golf cart/ATV at the office.

    This is good for the golf cart/ATV you registered year after year, so don’t throw it away. If you change vehicles then you would need to register the new one.

    Notice: You must fill out a vehicle registration, then attend a Safety Class and receive a safety ribbon that must be worn at all times while operating the vehicle on Powerland grounds.

    Safety Classes are held Friday, July 26 at 5pm at Br. 15 Garden Tractor Display Area or at 7pm at Steam Fiends Display Area; Saturday, July 27 at 9:30am at OVMM (John Deere) Display Area, 10am at Caterpillar Museum, 11am at the ACMOC Display Area. Other dates you can stop at the APMA Office.

  • Park in your camping space (1 vehicle) and any additional vehicles in specified parking areas.

  • 1 vehicle per space. All other vehicles should park in the designated parking areas on the grounds.

  • Yes! You can register by completing the [Camping Form Available Online Spring 2025] Registration Form and Camping Rules Form and returning it to our office with payment.

  • Yes! All campers, volunteers, exhibitors, and vendors receive wristbands that need to be worn and be visible

  • Yes! For The Great Oregon Steam-Up, registration deadline is April 1st.

    Camping spaces not registered and paid in full by April 1st will become first come first serve for all other campers.

  • Camping opens the Wednesday before events.

  • Camping is available until the Monday following the event

  • Please notify the office (503-393-2424) if someone is parked in your designated space

  • Yes! We have showers and bathroom facilities for campers

  • Yes! On your Camping Registration Form you will be able to add admission and pay for both at the same time.

  • You must let our office know if you will be cancelling your camping reservation. You will receive a full refund if you cancel at least 1 month before your reservation date, or a 50% refund if you cancel two weeks before your reservation date.
